Bioreactors are one of the most relevant pharmaceutical instruments for laboratory and manufacturing processes. Such instruments are used to cultivate cells by providing optimal conditions for growing and multiplying. For cell lines to grow optimally and maximize production yield, parameters must be properly adjusted and monitored: pH, temperature, humidity, gas and liquid concentration, and gas and liquid flows.

Improved yield through precision monitoring

Sensors make bioreactors extremely versatile for any sort of cell culture by allowing precise real-time monitoring of various parameters (e.g. flow and CO2 and O2 concentrations) to ensure a high yield by controlling the cells’ environment.

Enhanced process reliability and safety

The fast reaction time and high repeatability of our sensors provide the capability to further control the process through feedback loops. Alarms can be triggered when any parameter is out of range to induce automated compensation, thus preventing any damage to expensive batches and ensuring a reliable and robust operation.

Data logger for additional control and safety

Data loggers are used to store measured parameters. In case of unexpected results, they can be checked again. For safety and research purposes, it is very valuable to have access to this history.

Custom manifold gas solutions 

Component-level offerings often require large efforts for OEMs to integrate them into a module with various other components such as pressure sensors and valves. This substantially increases the assembly complexity, the know-how required by production teams and the sourcing strategy intricacy.
